One More Summer Session

This little girl has just way too much cuteness for one kid! I was able to photograph her when she was just nine days old, and again this summer with her mom and dad. She wasn't that into the session, but you can't even tell, because she is just FULL of cuteness! She is so stinkin' adorable, it's crazy!

She may not have been into the session, but she was definitely into the foliage!

Don't You Love it When....(AKA Psstt Tim)

...your sister takes pictures of you in July, and you don't get to see them until October??? I wouldn't know. But my brother would! I am putting the gallery online right now. As I am writing this. And I'll share a few photographs of my adorable brother and his super HOT, iron-man participant wife.

A Special Trip

Last week I was frantically filling out paperwork and contacting references. To apply for my passport. In hopes of getting one. Over night! It was all supposed to be a surprise. But I ruined it when I procrastinated getting said passport. My lovely sister had secretly contacted Dave. He could begin the planning process and take me on a birthday/anniversary trip, because her and her hubby would come down and watch the kids. OK!!! How often does someone volunteer to take four kids? For the weekend? (I don't need to answer that.) So, a week ago today we headed down to Seattle. We stayed downtown. Parked the car for the weekend, and roamed the streets. It was visually inspiring, I was just walking around taking in the graphic design. I loved it. But best of all I was sharing it all with my very best friend. Who tried to make it a surprise. But couldn't, because I just would get off my butt and get my passport.

World's Worst Blogger and Moo

Yes, I think I could probably receive that title. I tell myself I am actually going to post, and then I put it aside, and then months go by. So, when I got my free pack of moo cards (they give you ten free so you can see if you like them) I told myself, "I am going to post!" They have moos' add on the front, but I really only wanted to see what the quality was like, and if they'd be something that I could pick up while I wait until I can afford the classy letter press cards of my dreams.

And One More

Hydrangea's are one of my favorite flowers. I love the way the texture and color of their petals blend to make something extraordinarily beautiful. So I will post one more photo of the bouquet I made out of them yesterday. You can't go wrong with a little sunlight and hydrangeas.

Blowing The Dust Off

A thick layer of dust has been building on my blog. All the craziness of moving had me neglecting it. A layer of dust was on my camera too (metaphorically of coarse - I keep my camera safely and lovingly tucked away when I'm not able to use it). I'm blowing the dust off today though. And hopefully it won't have a chance to build up quite so thick.

The Little Details

I was really excited when Christa (CCSR Interior Design) asked me to take some photos of some of her work for the Ridge Meadows Home Show that is happening this weekend. This was a crazy fun assignment, as she has done an amazing job with these rooms. What I noticed most was that all the little details just added to the overall concept of the room. I'm talking everything. Down to the coasters! This just made my job easy. I'd look around and get excited about another little detail to photograph. I think it's those little details, placed with love, that make a home an abode.

Here's a little peak.

A Sneak Peak from Num Num

I headed out yesterday afternoon, to meet up with a beautiful family at a location I have not shot at before (but I've been wanting to for a long time). We've been trying to do these for a while, and, well, the weather wasn't very cooperative. Thank God He kept the rain at bay, and He did happen to provide some great lighting too! I could tell the older two kids are use to being in front of a camera. They were adorable, and took direction so well. I couldn't have asked for more cooperative models. Not to mention the whole families gorgeous blue eyes. I had so much fun guys!

And then M. got the idea, that she needed to take a picture of me with her mom and dad and little brother. I'm all for encouraging future talent, so I jumped in the shot. It was at the end of the shoot, so don't mind that I was rather tired.

WHAT?!?!? It's February?

OK. I'm a bit behind. I have some much to post here, and so little time to get it online. I have some photos from last year that I really do want to share. Honest. I'll get them up, I really will, but I've been behind my camera more than infront of the computer blogging - obviously. We also took a little trip that we couldn't take at Christmas. Upon returning David had some of my favorite flowers waiting for me. I had to snap a few because they seem to be dying quickly. I'll share them, and will be up with more soon.
